        You can heari fascinating experiences of the time by the local edlerly while volunteers will share the interesting clues of the articheture, culture and creativities by telling the stories of differernt sights along the Yuyuan Rd.

CREATER SPACE | Hua Shan

        Storytelling and Cycling along Yuyuan Rd started from CREATER SPACE | Hua Shan. CREATER SPACE Huashan brings an intelligent, eco-friendly, design and lifestyle driven co-working community to the heart of the Former French Concession. Designed as more than an office but a rather home for creative entrepreneurial companies to exchange ideas and thrive, this landmark fully furnished and serviced development has extensive common areas, communal kitchen, free meeting rooms and a modern Cafe. We will start by a simple opening with introduction and all the clues for this activity.

The Formal Site of Rewi Alley

        Rewi Alley, a New Zealander, who joined the firstMarxism group in Shanghai in 1927 and fought for Chinese people’s liberationand construction for a whole 60 years. During his 11 years lived in Shanghai,this is the place he had spending for 8 years. The Formal Site of Rewi Alley was also a rendezvouspoint and refuge for the Party members of CPC in the old days, and a municipalmemorial place now.

The Formal Site of Qian Xuesen

        Qian Xuesen(1911.12.11——2009.10.31) is a great scientist and the founder of China aerospace industry. He is the winner of Two Bombs and One Satellite medal, also be called “Father of Chinese Aerospace” and “Father of Chinese Rocketry”. The Formal Site of Qian Xuesen locates in Qishan Village of Jiang Su Lu street, which is a concealed stylish alley full of cultural celebrities.

Community Celebrity Wall

        Jiang Su Street Committee selects around 30 revolutionary celebrities that lived in Yuyuan Lu in modern times to exhibit their biographies. They are someone like Qu Qiubai, Deng Zhongxia, Yun Daiying, Zhang Ailing, Fu Lei, Cai Yuanpei etc. This Community Celebrity Wall is built in a historical alley and open to public for free.
